Today was Zeb's first day at pre-school. I was a little nervous about how he would do but he did wonderful! He calls the school "Kayleigh's school" and has been wanting to go for quite some time. He was so excited and even more excited to carry his Lightening McQueen back pack. When I picked him up at school he didn't want to leave! He wanted to keep playing on the play ground. I asked him what they did at school and he said " We ate chao fan ( which is fried rice), and played. Well that sums it up. I can't believe my little boy has started school!

Across the Ocean
We have flown across the ocean to America this time for my sister Holly's wedding. We have made it safely and are glad to be here. The kids did relatively well. They didn't really sleep very much at all but seemed pretty mesmerized by the movies they could watch. Zeb didn't really like the headphones so he watched most of the movies with no sound. I didn't mind as long as they weren't screaming. The reason I wanted to post about our trip is that I feel like many of our prayers were answered and our trip was not bad at all. The best part of it is that when we got here Zeb slept through the night the first night and has since we landed! Kayleigh was up the first night to eat some sort of meal since at dinner after we landed she literally passed out on the table and a hurricane could have come through the restaurant and she would have never known. We were only awake about an hour and that was it. She also has slept through the night the following nights. I think this is worthy of a post because I have spent many of a jet lagging night awake from 3 to 5 am watching my children play because they thought it was the middle of the day. It has been so good to see family. I am getting excited about my sister's wedding and she is keeping me plenty busy with things to do!

Afternoon Play Time
There are those moments in the day where I look over to see my kids playing together without someone getting hurt or mad. This happened to be one of those moments. I am so glad that Kayleigh has a brother to share life with. As I watch Zeb react to her every move I am so glad that he has a sister that makes him laugh. I know there are going to be plenty fights and moments of learning to share but I hope one day they will be really close friends. Below Kayleigh is trying to read a book to Zeb. Unfortunately, Zeb interprets it as "keep the book away from me" game. He happens to be smiling in this picture but he got really mad after a while because she wouldn't let him have the book.

Below is Kayleigh's version of the "peek a boo" game. She throws a blanket over Zeb's head and laughs until he figures out how to get it off.

Peek a Boo with Daddy
Zeb loves to sit in his bumbo and look out the window in the mornings. This particular morning he got a hold of the curtains and started trying to pull them down! Then he started putting the curtains in front of his face. He loves to play! He is such a boy. John and can't wait till he can wrestle with him.

Playing in the Tent
We recently aquired a tent for Zeb to sleep in when we travel so we won't have to take the blasted Pak-In-Play where ever we go. Today I set it up so that we could see what it looks like and as soon as it was up, Kayleigh was inside playing and rumbling in the tent. She brought her baby, her water, and other various sundry items into the tent as if it was her little personal playground. When I zipped it up she got scared and told me to open the "knock knock". She calls any door, of any type a knock knock. Pretty smart for a 2 year old.

Kayleigh, Zeb and the Floor
Today Kayleigh and Zeb woke up in good moods and they descided they wanted to play on the floor, well Zeb always plays on the floor, Kayleigh just wanted to join him. Here are a few pictures of our beautiful little loves. God has certainly blessed us with two healthy children. Zeb continues to slobber through about two to three outfits a day! He constantly has a bib on even though he is not eating. We love him so much.

Lydia's Birthday Party
Today we went to our friends house to have a end of the summer cookout and to celebrate Lydia's 1st Birthday. Lydia is one of Kayleigh's friends. Our friend Erin Ashley had a great idea to buy a pool and have the kids swim before dinner. They had so much fun. Kayleigh's favorite part was pouring water over all the girls heads. We had a great meal of grilled chicken and lots of fun sides. We ended the night by watching the Olympics with everyone.

Below are all the women that were here in the city this summer. They are all very special friends.

Poor Lydia got a little overwhelmed at all of us singing Happy Birthday to her. She didn't know quite what to think.

Check out the serious drool on this boy's shirt. John jokes and says he has to be dehydrated from loosing so much water!

Kayleigh's First Kiss!
Yesterday we were playing outside. There are several children that are usually outside when we go to play. Fortunately, most of them are around Kayleigh's age which is great. Most of the children are really intrigued with Kayleigh since she looks so different than them. Kayleigh and this little boy were chasing each other around. After a while this little boy became brave enough to come up to Kayleigh and start touching her face. I guess Kayleigh thought it was a nice gesture because she decided to give him a kiss on the lips in return! I called John to tell him that we need to watch out because our daughter is starting early with boys! Lets hope this is the last kiss for a very very long time!
