Happy Halloween!!!

We had a really fun Halloween. On Friday night we took the kids to a Harvest Festival where they could play games like bean bag toss, throw a football through a hoop, and fishing to win candy. Kayleigh dressed up a like a princess and Zeb was Super Man. Kayleigh always wants to wear her dress up clothes outside and I always say "no" because I don't want them to get dirty. She thought it was a big deal to get to wear her princess dress out on the town. We had a wonderful time and I am pretty sure the kids are still on a sugar high from all the candy!

Check out their hair. John put enough gel in Zeb's hair that on the way to the festival a bug got stuck in there!

Rock Band

We have been having a great summer. Kayleigh and Zeb are having a blast spending time with their cousins. We went over to John's sister Kelsey's house and played Rock Band. I have to admit I loved it! It is very addicting and some songs just bring back so many memories. Kayleigh, Sadie, and Ethan decided to have a round with Rock Band. Below Kayleigh is playing the drums. Unfortunately, she was booed off the stage for this performance however, she did fairly well with singing. We plan to head over to Kelsey's house for some more Rock Band before we leave.

We also spent some time with a family that has all red heads. I couldn't resist taking a picture of all the kids. It isn't everyday that you see that many red heads in the same room. I had heard a couple of years ago on the news that red hair was decreasing however, I have to disagree. I have noticed more red headed people/children ever since I have had my kids.

Daddy's Hair Needs Attention!!!

I laid down in Kayleigh's lap this afternoon and she proceeded to get her hairbrush and comb my hair. I think she loved the practice, as she has started to imitate her mommy when she is doing her hair. So, Kayleigh thought she would make daddy look beautiful by brushing my hair. She is the most interesting little girl, and by all means, she is all girl. I ocationally get the lipstick treatment from her when she has her pocketbook close at hand.

Thanks for the hair brushing Kayleigh. I really needed it!
