Our sweet Layla is 6 months old. She can now roll from one side to the other and back again. This is huge for me because the past month or so she could roll from her stomach to her back but could not get back over which caused lots of problems during nap time. She is also sleeping through the night now which is a wonderful blessing for me. It comes at a great time since I plan to start home schooling Kayleigh at the beginning of September. I love to watch her watch Kayleigh and Zeb. I really don't think I would have seen some of her personality traits come out this soon if she didn't have siblings. You can tell she is a third child and needs to be heard. She will scream at the top of her lungs not in anger but excitement to make sure that everyone notices her. Of course she gets major laughs from her sister and brother which encourages her to do it more.

My Sweet Zeb is 18 months!
My sweet Zeb is 18 months and has been for a while but I am just now getting around to writing this post. He will be 19 months on Sunday. I just love this age. He is so sweet and fun and brings so much joy to my day. He is learning new things everyday. One day about a week or so ago he woke up and started trying to repeat words that we say. He even has a certain "language" he uses when he tries to speak like the locals. It is so funny! He loves to laugh when we are laughing even if he has no idea what we are laughing about. He just wants to join in on the fun. At the same time, he loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. When I ask him to say I love you he just gives me a kiss. He is all boy in so many ways. Zeb, this post is for you little man. I love you so much!

Reunited!
After two weeks and five days to be exact our little family of four was reunited. It was a hard two weeks apart but God was good and sustained us. John had plenty of people helping him with Kayleigh and plenty of meals. I am pretty sure they did not go hungry. Zeb and I had a good trip back to China. When I first landed in Atlanta and found out that the seat that John and I reserved for me, which had a nice space to lie Zeb down in, was changed to bulkhead I got really nervous. I promptly showed the attendants that my 26 pound son was not going to fit in one of their bassinets! They agreed and found me a seat with an empty seat next to it on the plane! God is so good. I had so many people praying that the trip would go smooth and it did. Zeb ended up sleeping the last 6 hours of the flight! He did well and only cried a little. I was so thankful. Zeb was so excited to see his daddy at the airport. Security let me stroll him out to John while I got the luggage. The next morning when Kayleigh woke up she was so surprised to see me. She was dying to wake up Zeb. I have a awesome video of her waking him up in the morning but I can't get it to upload on our stone age internet! You will have to trust me that it was a very sweet reunion. I think Zeb and I are finally over jet lag and getting settled back into our way of life here. I'm excited to be back and to be in a new place but most importantly I'm glad to be reunited with John and Kayleigh.
