First week in Thailand
Well, we made it to Thailand but not without some crazy things happening. Thanks to many who prayed we made it through the airport even though Kayleigh threw up and Thai Air didn't want to let me on the plane! We are here now enjoying Thailand and awaiting our little boy. Alisa's c-section is scheduled for May 1st. It is weird to know when your baby is coming and what his birthday will be. It has been pretty hot here and it can get up to about 105 degrees F. The last couple days have been nice because it has rained and cooled everything off. We are mostly hanging out in the pool and Kayleigh is loving all the swing sets they have here. She has made some great friends that live in Cambodia. They leave on Sunday so I know she will be sad to see them go. Alisa's parents arrive tomorrow night around midnight! We can't wait to see them!

Sugar Everywhere!

After mommy put Kayleigh on the counter while Daddy was cooking, things got a little messy with Kayleigh exploring the jar of sugar. After trying to pull the measuring cup out of the jar (to try and help mommy clean up), sugar was everywhere! At least it was localized on the counter and not all over the floor.

Easter

We had a great time celebrating Easter this year. We attended the International Fellowship and then went back to Josh and Danielle's home for some great food and fellowship. It was nice to be with our team on Easter since they are our family here. Josh has a piano and let Kayleigh play on it for a while. She really enjoyed banging on the keys!

Kayleigh's First Kiss!
Yesterday we were playing outside. There are several children that are usually outside when we go to play. Fortunately, most of them are around Kayleigh's age which is great. Most of the children are really intrigued with Kayleigh since she looks so different than them. Kayleigh and this little boy were chasing each other around. After a while this little boy became brave enough to come up to Kayleigh and start touching her face. I guess Kayleigh thought it was a nice gesture because she decided to give him a kiss on the lips in return! I called John to tell him that we need to watch out because our daughter is starting early with boys! Lets hope this is the last kiss for a very very long time!

A Day at the Park

Recently, our team spent an afternoon at a park nearby our house. We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. While we were there Kayleigh saw some ducks and we were able to go over and feed them. She loved it! She loves ducks so she was very interested in them. This park is an unusual one in that it has rides sort of like a fair. Josh ( a member of our team) decided to take Kayleigh for a ride on the Merry-Go-Round. She had a blast! She did not know quite what to think at first but got very used to the ride by the end.

Coloring and Other Interests
Since we have gotten back from Thailand, Kayleigh has really been into coloring. We keep her crayons and coloring book in a draw. She gets out her crayons everyday to color and usually asks her "DaDa" to come color with her. We have even tried coloring cards. For David's birthday ( a team member) we colored him a Happy Birthday card.
She is also really into her children's Bible now. She won't let me read any other books before she takes a nap except the Bible. However, you should know she is only focused on the story of Daniel and the Lions Den because lions are her favorite right now. She carries around the Bible to show me all the lions she has found. Hopefully, we can convince her there are other great stories too!

Kleenex Mayhem
One morning, we (John and I) had not yet gotten out of bed, only when we did, there was our little bundle of joy covered in Kleenex! We were too tired to be mad so we just laughed it off and took pictures. At first, we saw her blowing her nose and wiping her face with them. Then when we got up to talk to her about it, she did not know how to react. In the picture above, she has the "I didn't do anything" face. When we started to laugh she began to laugh with us. Another day in the life of Kayleigh!
